The warmth arrives without the bulk here: a light fill packed into slim quilted channels, so the jacket keeps your shape rather than widening it. The stand collar rises close to the jaw and closes off the gap where a scarf usually slips. It runs close to the body, so size up one if a thick knit is going underneath. Stand Collar That Blocks the Wind The raised collar covers the back of the neck on an open platform. Zipped to the top, it frames the face instead of swallowing it.

Slim Quilting That Moves With You The narrow channels hold the fill evenly, so nothing shifts into lumps across the back. The jacket still slides under a seatbelt and sits flat at the waist.

A Hip Length That Works Both Ways Shorter than a long puffer jacket and roomier through the body than a cropped puffer jacket, the hem lands at the hip and leaves your stride alone.

Lightweight Shell With a Dense, Dry Hand The outer is a smooth, closely woven shell with a matte finish and almost no stretch, quilted through to hold the padding in place. A full-length zip runs to the top of the collar, and the stitched channels keep the loft even from shoulder to hem.
