The heel is a low stacked block, wide enough to stay level on uneven pavement and shallow enough to walk on all day. Smooth leather runs across the whole upper, shaped close through the ankle so the shaft stands upright rather than folding at the seam. A zip sits along the inner edge, so you step in without pulling. Sizes run 4 to 14, true to size, with room for a thicker sock at the top of the range.
